A 25-seat commuter bus struck a dump truck on a road in Wanggok-myeon, Naju, South Jeolla Province, at around 7:37 a.m. Wednesday.
The crash injured 15 people — 11 with minor injuries and four with serious injuries — all of whom were taken to the hospital.
Authorities said none of the injured were in life-threatening condition.
Nineteen people were aboard the bus, which was heading to a company in the Naju Innovation General Industrial Complex. Ten of them were trapped inside the vehicle by the impact and rescued by fire department personnel.
Police are investigating the drivers to determine the exact cause of the accident.
