Gyeongbuk Health College announced Wednesday that it has successfully completed its "2026 Department of Beauty Design Practical Beauty Specialist Training Course," run as part of the RISE (Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System) project.
The program was designed to help workers at local beauty businesses stay current with the latest industry trends and sharpen their practical skills.
The training was held twice — on June 30 and Tuesday — at the Beauty Clinic Room in the Techno Art Building, drawing about 20 workers from local beauty businesses. Sessions combined instructor demonstrations with hands-on practice in a field-oriented format.
"We will continue to expand practice-centered education that reflects the needs of industry, strengthen the competitiveness of the local economy, and further cement our role as a lifelong vocational education hub that grows alongside the community," college President Lee Eun-jik said.
