Daegu University career center holds regional company tour and analysis camp

Daegu University's University Jobs Plus Center held the "2026 Regional Company Tour and Business Analysis Competition Camp" over two days Wednesday and Thursday at the Miryang Arena Hotel.

The program brought together 20 enrolled students for firsthand visits to company sites, offering short-term job experience and structured career and role exploration to help participants build practical career-planning skills.

On the first day, students visited HD Hyundai Robotics and Doosan Enerbility, two leading companies in the Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province region, in succession.

The camp sessions that followed featured a special lecture on methods for gathering and analyzing corporate information, along with in-depth team-based company analysis exercises.

On the second day, a pitching speech lecture on effective presentations preceded a company analysis competition.

Kim Jung-ho, head of Daegu University's employment support team, said he hoped "the camp will serve as a meaningful opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of local companies and strengthen their practical job-seeking skills."
