Sealy Korea (CEO Yoon Jong-hyo) has launched Lowd, a new low-profile bed frame made from solid natural wood.
The company said the product was made entirely from natural rubber wood rather than MDF (medium-density fiberboard) out of health considerations. It added that rubber wood's low moisture content and high density make it resistant to warping under changes in temperature and humidity, giving it strong durability for long-term use.
"The low height and minimalist design make the space feel more open," the company said. "We brought out the natural wood grain and warm texture characteristic of solid wood so the frame can complement a wide range of interior styles."
Optional side panels can be added to suit individual preferences. Each panel features a built-in three-step touch light that operates independently, along with USB and USB-C charging ports. The frame is available in all standard sizes — Regular King, Cal King, King, Queen and Super Single — allowing customers to choose based on their room layout and sleep preferences.
"There is a growing trend of turning the bedroom into a space for work, hobbies and relaxation, not just sleep," Sealy Korea said. "In response, we are introducing a low-profile product with the practicality to open up the space and adapt flexibly to a variety of uses."
