Hyundai Motor announced Wednesday it will launch the 2027 Casper and 2027 Casper Electric, both featuring significantly enhanced convenience features as standard equipment.
For the 2027 Casper, Hyundai Motor has made button start and smart key, smart key remote start, and front-row button-type outside door handles standard on the entry-level Smart trim. The Essential trim gains a front passenger safety power window as a standard feature.
In addition, the 2027 Casper Electric adds a highway toll transponder as standard on the Premium trim, while the Inspiration and Cross trims now come standard with Digital Key 2 Touch, smartphone wireless charging, and front-row touch-type outside door handles.
Prices for the 2027 Casper start at 15.46 million won ($10,300) for the standard model Smart trim, 17.92 million won for the Essential trim, and 20.35 million won for the Inspiration trim. The van model is priced at 14.7 million won for the Smart trim and 15.7 million won for the Smart Choice trim.
The 2027 Casper Electric is priced at 28.47 million won for the Premium trim, 32.12 million won for the Inspiration trim, 34.12 million won for the Cross trim, and 34.57 million won for the Lounge trim. All prices reflect eco-friendly vehicle tax benefits.
Buyers in Seoul can expect to purchase the 2027 Casper Electric Premium trim for just over 20 million won after central government and local government subsidies.
"The 2027 Casper and Casper Electric make the convenience features customers prefer most standard from the entry trim up," a Hyundai Motor official said. "We will continue working to ensure more customers can experience the convenience and practicality of the Casper."
Meanwhile, the Casper sold a combined 8,266 units in the domestic market from January through June this year, including 4,431 units of the Casper Electric.
