Posco E&C unveils smart home platform exclusive to HAUTERRE residents

Posco E&C is launching a smart home platform exclusively for residents of HAUTERRE, its high-end residential brand. The platform integrates in-unit device control, complex lifestyle services, community features and concierge services into a single app, aiming to elevate the living experience for high-end residents.

The company announced the platform Wednesday. It will be applied first to HAUTERRE Banpo and HAUTERRE Sinbanpo, both of which began move-ins last month, before rolling out sequentially to other major high-end residential complexes, including Seongsu HAUTERRE.

Unlike conventional smart home apps focused on basic device functions, the HAUTERRE platform connects every aspect of the residential experience to suit the lifestyle of high-end residents. It goes beyond in-unit device control to integrate complex living services, resident communication and premium partner services. The platform is organized around three sections: "My Home," "Life" and "Social."

My Home controls smart home devices within each unit, including lighting, heating and cooling, ventilation and home appliances. An automatic mode tailored to residents' daily routines enhances living convenience.

Life provides functions for day-to-day complex living, such as booking community facilities, checking maintenance fees, viewing notices and submitting complaints. It also supports resident communication and lifestyle information sharing to broaden the community experience.

Social offers premium concierge services developed in partnership with affiliated companies. Through Woori Bank's VIP service TWO CHAIRS, residents can book consultations on investment, tax, retirement pension and foreign exchange matters, as well as attend residents-only asset management seminars. Additional services available through the app include home styling consultations, an art subscription service, health checkup booking and residential pest and hygiene assessments.

Posco E&C also plans to introduce an AI agent service to the platform. The company intends to build out hyper-personalized residential services through natural language-based conversational features and customized suggestions tailored to each resident's living environment.

"The HAUTERRE smart home platform is not simply a smart home control app — it is a premium residential platform that connects the daily lives, tastes and overall lifestyle of high-end residents," a Posco E&C official said. "We will continue to expand the differentiated products and services unique to HAUTERRE to deliver new residential experiences."
