Actor Lee Young-ae, 55, has drawn attention after being spotted dining with her husband Jeong Ho-young, 75, at a gathering with friends.
Composer Kim Hyung-seok posted a photo Tuesday on his Instagram showing the group at a restaurant, captioning it "Actor Lee Young-ae and her husband, and Dr. Jang Il-young."
In the photo, four people are seated together for a meal, and Lee sits beside her husband, smiling at the camera.
Lee drew admiration for her still-youthful appearance, looking as though the years had left her untouched.
Lee married Jeong in 2009. Jeong, a Korean American businessman 20 years her senior, is a prominent figure in South Korea's telecommunications venture industry, with assets widely reported at 2 trillion won ($1.34 billion). The couple welcomed twins — a son and a daughter — in 2011.
Lee confirmed in March that she would star in a new drama series, "Jaei's Yeongin," alongside actor Yoo Ji-tae. The two previously appeared together in "One Fine Spring Day" (2001), one of South Korea's most beloved romance films, making their reunion after 25 years a point of considerable interest. The drama series is expected to follow a man and a woman, each carrying similar wounds, as they heal each other and rebuild their lives.
Lee's most recent project was the KBS 2TV drama series "Eunsu's Lucky Day," which concluded its run in October last year.
