'Naneun Solo' divorced cast members Yeongja and Yeongcheol hit with divorce rumors six months after wedding

Yeongja and Yeongcheol, who met on the divorced-singles special of "Naneun Solo" (a TV dating show) Season 28, have been swept up in rumors of divorce and marital discord.

Speculation about the couple's relationship began circulating online Wednesday, roughly six months after they wed in January.

The rumors gained traction after photos of Yeongcheol disappeared from Yeongja's social media accounts. She had been regularly posting pictures of the two sharing happy everyday moments until recently, prompting widespread speculation about what lay behind the deletions.

However, photos of Yeongja remain on Yeongcheol's social media pages.

Online commenters have also been revisiting concerns the couple shared when they appeared on tvN Story's "Lee Ho-seon Sangdamso" (a counseling-themed TV program) in March.

At the time, the couple said "the path to marriage was not easy," describing a relationship marked by repeated breakups and reconciliations from the very start.

Yeongcheol said their arguments stemmed "less from issues between the two of us and more from outside scrutiny," while Yeongja said she had felt anxious and distressed by malicious comments and rumors of Yeongcheol's infidelity following the broadcast of "Naneun Solo," adding that she had even checked his divorce mediation documents. She also said they had experienced conflict over emotional wounds from previous marriages and financial difficulties.
