BL I&C, a specialist in building automation systems and building energy management systems, has completed development of its zero-energy software Zenersys and launched a full-scale push into the market, targeting public institutions, large private buildings and AI data centers.
According to the company Wednesday, Zenersys is a platform that collects and analyzes real-time operational data from a building's key systems — including heating, ventilation and air conditioning, air handling, lighting and electrical equipment — to provide integrated management of energy consumption. It links existing BAS, BEMS, power meters, environmental sensors and other systems to analyze energy consumption patterns and operational status by facility, diagnose sources of energy waste, and recommend efficient operating strategies.
Zenersys offers seven core functions: real-time monitoring of building energy consumption, energy consumption analysis by facility, diagnosis of energy waste factors, analysis of potential energy savings, support for improving operational efficiency, carbon emissions management, and energy operations reporting. Through these functions, operators can intuitively assess a building's energy performance and make data-driven decisions for efficient operations.
Demand for smart energy platforms integrating BAS, BEMS and zero-energy operating software is expected to grow steadily, driven by the government's carbon neutrality policy, the expansion of zero-energy buildings and growth in the AI industry's data center market.
A company official said Zenersys was developed to address these market shifts, with the software designed for use across a wide range of building types — including public institutions, office facilities, hospitals, schools, research institutes, manufacturing facilities and large commercial buildings, as well as AI data centers.
The solution was built on years of accumulated experience in BAS and BEMS implementation. A key feature is its low barrier to adoption: the software makes maximum use of a building's existing control and metering infrastructure, requiring only the addition of necessary data integration and analytics functions.
"With this product launch, we plan to expand supply to public institutions, local governments, construction companies, AI data centers, design firms, facility management companies and energy specialists," CEO Jung Jong-ho said. "The biggest differentiator of Zenersys is that it is a zero-energy operating platform that analyzes energy consumption based on building operational data and recommends efficient operating strategies, providing tangible support for energy savings and carbon emissions reduction."
Alongside Zenersys software sales, BL I&C offers customized OEM and ODM development services. The company is also recruiting domestic and overseas sales agents.
