KB Kookmin Bank announced Monday that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Gangbuk Samsung Hospital on Thursday to promote senior health and expand a culture of charitable giving.
The agreement links financial and medical services to offer senior customers integrated asset management and health care support, while contributing to the spread of a giving culture.
Under the MOU, the two institutions plan to expand cooperation across three areas: tailored asset management and donor recognition programs, promotion of legacy giving and a broader culture of charitable donations, and the operation of senior health promotion programs.
Kookmin Bank will provide comprehensive asset management services throughout customers' lives, centered on its senior-focused brand KB Golden Life. Gangbuk Samsung Hospital will draw on its health screening capabilities and medical infrastructure to support senior wellness activities and donor recognition programs.
Kookmin Bank operates 19 Golden Life Centers nationwide, through which it offers tailored seminar programs such as Golden Class and a "total care solution."
"We will continue to expand partnerships with a wide range of specialized institutions to become a trusted financial partner that supports the healthy and fulfilling retirement of our senior customers," a Kookmin Bank official said.
