Ulsan, which bills itself as a "garden city," will launch a companion plant care class starting next month, held every first Saturday of the month at 2 p.m. at the companion plant clinic inside the Ulsan Garden Support Center on Taehwa-ro in Jung-gu.
Each session is limited to 10 participants and will be led by a civic gardener, combining personalized consultations with hands-on practice. The curriculum covers how to check a plant's growth condition, proper watering techniques, pest and disease management, seasonal care tips and repotting methods.
Registration opens Friday at 9 a.m. through the Ulsan Garden Support Center website and the Ulsan Moa integrated reservation system, on a first-come, first-served basis per session.
The Ulsan Garden Support Center offers a range of garden-culture spaces for residents to learn about and enjoy gardening in their daily lives, including a garden bookstore, an indoor garden and a rooftop garden.
