SGC Energy disclosed Thursday that its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 31.9 percent year-on-year to 44.8 billion won ($30.3 million).
Revenue for the same period fell 6.7 percent to 577 billion won, according to preliminary figures.
Net profit for the period came in at 7.3 billion won, swinging to a profit from a loss a year earlier.
