A report came in at around 9:55 a.m. Saturday that a 1-ton motorboat had capsized in waters near Odongdo in Yeosu.
Yeosu Coast Guard units dispatched patrol vessels and rescue teams to the scene, pulling four of the five people on board to safety — one of them in cardiac arrest — but one person remains unaccounted for and a search is ongoing.
Coast Guard officials said they have mobilized all available rescue assets and are conducting an intensive search centered on the accident site.
