iM Bank, Korea Student Aid Foundation sign MOU to boost youth employment from vocational high schools

iM Bank signed an MOU with the Korea Student Aid Foundation on Friday at its headquarters in Suseong-dong, Daegu, to promote employment among youth from vocational high schools.

Under the agreement, the two institutions will cooperate across multiple areas — identifying job roles and hiring needs suited to vocational high school students, recommending and connecting qualified high school graduates with employment opportunities, and jointly planning and operating job-training and career-linkage programs to strengthen students' employability.

iM Bank plans to review job roles and hiring needs across its banking operations suited to high school graduates, with the aim of identifying talent based on ability.

"iM Bank will continue to expand its ESG management activities to fulfill the social responsibilities of a financial institution and pursue mutual growth with the local community," iM Bank CEO Kang Jeong-hun said.
