Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Wolsong Nuclear Power Plant headquarters announced Monday it is accepting applications through Aug. 31 for its 2027 community support projects.
The program operates under the Act on Support for Areas Adjacent to Power Plants and covers projects in education and scholarships, local economic cooperation, environmental improvement, welfare promotion and cultural development.
Applications can be submitted online through a dedicated portal accessible via the Wolsong headquarters website, or in person and by mail. Walk-in submissions are accepted at the reception desk on the first floor of the Wolsong Sports Center.
To help applicants better understand the program, the headquarters will hold an information session Thursday at 2 p.m. in the auditorium of its public relations center.
"Through a fair and transparent application process, we will identify projects that residents can genuinely feel the benefit of and pursue initiatives that make a real difference," a Wolsong headquarters official said.
