Daegyeong University's 304th RNTC completes summer training, holds 12th induction ceremony

Daegyeong University's 304th Reserve Non-commissioned Officer Training Corps (RNTC) successfully completed its summer training camp and held its 12th induction ceremony Friday at the Army Non-commissioned Officer School.

The summer training was conducted for 58 RNTC candidates at the Army Non-commissioned Officer School in Iksan, North Jeolla Province, beginning July 20.

A total of 58 candidates — 25 second-year students and 33 first-year candidates appointed this year — participated in and completed the three-week military training program.

At the completion ceremony, second-year candidate Byeon Seong-eun and first-year candidate Lee Eun-chan, both from the AI Defense Robotics department, received academic excellence awards, demonstrating the strength of Daegyeong University's AI Defense Robotics program.

Kim Gi-won, head of the AI Education Innovation Office, said the 304th RNTC "is growing into a cradle for training elite non-commissioned officers who combine professional knowledge with military competence," adding that the university would "continuously expand education and support to develop outstanding talent responsible for national security."

University President Lee Chae-young said at the completion and induction ceremony that Daegyeong University would "continue to provide unwavering support for nurturing outstanding RNTC candidates and cultivating talent in advanced defense fields."
