Shinhan Bank to open Narasarang Card pop-up at Yongsan Station

Shinhan Bank announced Tuesday it will open a pop-up store where active and prospective military personnel can experience its Narasarang Card, a financial card issued to service members.

The Shinhan Narasarang Card Pop-up Store will run Aug. 14 through Aug. 20 at the main concourse of KTX Yongsan Station.

The event was designed to express gratitude and support for service members at Yongsan Station — a major transit hub for military personnel — while giving visitors a hands-on look at the newly launched Shinhan Narasarang Card.

The venue will be styled after a military supply store and divided into several zones: a merchandise zone, an events zone, a pre-registration zone for the new Narasarang Card, and a customization zone. Visitors will receive an entry gift and limited-edition merchandise themed around military ranks.

A "Cheer for Our Unit" event will also be held, in which visitors can nominate their own unit or any unit they wish to support for a chance to win a gift package through a raffle. The program is designed for both individual service members and their units to participate together.

Visitors can also pre-register at the venue for a special card plate featuring Yuna of K-pop group ITZY, the card's model. Those who pre-register will receive priority issuance of the Yuna-edition Narasarang Card from Sept. 1 through Sept. 3, ahead of the official launch. The product is available only to those eligible for the Narasarang Card under criteria set by the Ministry of National Defense.

Service members who complete pre-registration will also receive, on a first-come, first-served basis, a hands-on experience making their own keepsake using a military cap keyring and patches. Shinhan Bank said it plans to expand services and brand experiences aimed at improving the financial convenience and welfare of military personnel.
