Gyeongkuk National University earns top ratings in national university support project for 2nd consecutive year

Gyeongkuk National University announced Tuesday that it received the highest-level ratings among national hub universities in the Ministry of Education's 2026 performance evaluation of the National University Development Project, earning an A rating in educational innovation outcomes and an S rating in self-performance management.

The results mark the second consecutive year the university has achieved top-tier ratings, again demonstrating its capabilities in educational innovation and performance management.

The university earned the A rating in educational innovation by demonstrating excellence across curriculum reform and the strengthening of student support systems.

It received the S rating in self-performance management for its strong feedback mechanisms, including the application of self-evaluation and performance analysis results.

The university also secured 10 billion won ($7.07 million) in National University Development Project funding this year, marking three consecutive years of securing 10 billion won or more in project funding since 2024.

"We will continue to drive educational innovation centered on student choice and growth, and further strengthen our competitiveness as a national university through systematic performance management and feedback," university President Jeong Tae-ju said.
