Korea Maritime and Ocean University to host AI transformation (AX) seminar for shipbuilding and marine industries

The AI-specialized joint training center at Korea Maritime and Ocean University will hold an "AI Transformation (AX) Expansion Seminar for the Shipbuilding and Marine Industries" at the Shilla Stay West Busan Ballroom on Aug. 27.

The seminar targets officials from marine equipment companies and partner firms, as well as employees at related institutions. It will cover the case for AI adoption and strategies for leveraging AI, and will introduce practical examples of AI applications in industrial settings.

The event will also outline the AI-specialized joint training center project and how companies can participate as core partners in the coming year. Expert lectures will address topics including building a generative AI knowledge ecosystem to strengthen the marine equipment industry's competitiveness, and why the shipbuilding and marine sectors should begin their AI transformation now.
