Stray Kids sets personal best on Hot 100; Jennie charts for 46 consecutive weeks

Stray Kids has cemented its standing in the global music market by simultaneously making waves on the main US Billboard singles and albums charts.

According to the latest Billboard charts released Tuesday, the title track of Stray Kids' new mini album "THIS & THAT" debuted at No. 38 on the Hot 100 — the group's highest-ever position on the main singles chart.

The group's showing on the Billboard 200 was dominant by far: "THIS & THAT" debuted straight at No. 1.

Stray Kids has now achieved an unprecedented milestone — every one of the nine albums it has placed on the chart has debuted at No. 1, starting with "ODDINARY" in 2022 and continuing through "5-STAR," "ROCK-STAR," "KARMA," "DO IT" and now "THIS & THAT." In the Billboard 200's 71-year history, no other act has debuted at No. 1 on nine consecutive charting albums.

On this week's Hot 100, Jennie of Blackpink held steady at No. 8 with "Dracula," her collaboration with Australian act Tame Impala, matching her position from the previous week and extending her run to 46 consecutive weeks on the chart. Hybe's global girl group Katseye also continued its strong showing, with "Animal" climbing five spots to No. 30 for a fifth straight week on the chart.

K-pop acts also made their presence felt on the Billboard 200. BTS' "Arirang" held firm at No. 21, while the original soundtrack to the Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters landed at No. 33. Corts' "GREENGREEN" came in at No. 110, and Katseye placed two more entries on the chart — "Beautiful Chaos" at No. 121 and "SIS (Soft Is Strong)" at No. 196.
