Points usable for ticket bookings, merchandise purchases
VIP members eligible for up to 50% discount
CJ Olive Networks' lifestyle membership program CJ ONE has expanded into the cultural arts sector, allowing members to earn and spend points on the Ground Seesaw exhibition platform.
CJ Olive Networks announced Thursday that it had signed a partnership with Media&Art, the operator of Ground Seesaw, to broaden cultural benefits for CJ ONE members.
Ground Seesaw is a platform presenting exhibitions that draw on cultural and artistic intellectual property — including photography, media art and illustration. Past exhibitions have included the Yoshi Go photography show and a special exhibition based on the webtoon "Yumi's Cells."
Under the partnership, CJ ONE members can link their account through the Ground Seesaw app to earn and redeem points. Ticket bookings made through the app and purchases at art shops at the Hannam, Central (Seoul Station) and East (Guui) locations — as well as the Yongsan branch set to open in October — will earn 1 percent of the final payment amount in points. The Busan branch is excluded.
Members can also use accumulated CJ ONE points to book exhibition tickets or buy merchandise at art shops. The expanded redemption options are expected to improve the overall convenience of the membership for CJ ONE users.
VIP-tier members receive tiered discounts: PRISM members get 50 percent off exhibitions and 10 percent off art shop purchases, while SVIP members receive 45 percent, VVIP members 40 percent and VIP members 35 percent off exhibitions.
To mark the partnership, CJ ONE is running a special promotion through Tuesday. The first 5,000 customers who link their CJ ONE account on the Ground Seesaw app and purchase an exhibition ticket will receive 2,000 CJ ONE points.
In addition, a lucky draw among members who complete the account linking will award two VIP tickets granting free, queue-free entry to any Ground Seesaw location.
CJ ONE has previously offered movie-going benefits through a partnership with CGV, and has run cultural content invitation and discount programs — including performances and musicals — through its cultural curation service ONE PICK CULTURE.
"We arranged this partnership so that CJ ONE members can enjoy rich benefits not only in everyday spending such as shopping and dining, but also in the cultural arts sphere," said Lim A-jin, head of CJ ONE. "Going forward, we will continue to expand our partner network across all aspects of lifestyle to deliver a differentiated customer experience unique to CJ ONE."
