Ulsan announces 537 successful candidates in third local civil servant exam of 2026

Ulsan city announced Thursday the 537 successful candidates in the 2026 third-round local civil servant appointment exam on its official website.

By job series, the successful candidates include 271 in administration, 22 in taxation, 5 in information technology, 54 in social welfare, 4 in library services, 1 in stenography, 8 in industrial engineering (general machinery), 12 in industrial engineering (general electrical), 6 in industrial engineering (general chemical), 10 in agriculture (general), 1 in agriculture (livestock), 20 in green space management, 2 in marine and fisheries, 17 in public health, 29 in nursing, 16 in environment, 18 in facilities (general civil engineering), 22 in facilities (architecture), 2 in facilities (cadastral), 9 in disaster safety, 5 in broadcasting and communications, and 3 in driving.

By gender, women accounted for 366 candidates, or 68.2 percent, and men for 171, or 31.8 percent. By age group, candidates in their 20s made up the largest share at 306, or 57.0 percent, followed by those in their 30s at 183 (34.1 percent), those in their 40s at 44 (8.2 percent), and those in their 50s at 4 (0.7 percent).

The youngest successful candidate is a 20-year-old woman in general administration, while the oldest is a 53-year-old woman in social welfare.

In a separate recruitment track designed to expand civil service opportunities for socially vulnerable groups, 18 people passed — 10 with disabilities and 8 from low-income households.
