Actor Cho Bo-ah's sister sweeps dating show votes — turns out she works at LG Group

Actor Cho Bo-ah reacted with playful surprise after her younger sister appeared on a dating reality show.

Cho shared a photo Friday on her SNS of her sister, Cho Yu-gyeong, from the show, writing: "What are you doing there?"

The photo showed Yu-gyeong in the second episode of "Sasarowun Mannam Chugu," a dating variety show on the TEO YouTube channel. She was labeled a "teto-nyeo" — a term for a bold, assertive woman with a dominant personality — and appeared visibly nervous.

Yu-gyeong is Bo-ah's younger sister and works in marketing at LG Group.

Yu-gyeong earned the "teto-nyeo" label after describing her approach to relationships. "When I'm in a relationship, everything else stops," she said. "I don't think I'd give up until the other person tells me, 'I don't like you — I like someone else.' I'd rather go for it than be left with regret."

She also drew attention during the first-impression vote, receiving votes from all three male cast members — a clean sweep. She did not end up forming a couple by the end of the show, however.

The buzz around Bo-ah's sister has renewed public interest in the family.

Bo-ah has previously said on television that her father is a dentist, and has spoken warmly about her upbringing. "My parents created a harmonious home from when I was young," she said. "My motto is that I want to live like my mom and dad." Bo-ah married in 2024 and gave birth to a son in February.

"Sasarowun Mannam Chugu" is a dating show aimed at single working professionals in their 20s and 30s seeking genuine connections despite busy schedules. The show operates on a "company blind date" concept, pairing participants based on their workplaces, practical circumstances and personal tastes.
