Daegu University holds fall 2025 graduation ceremony

Daegu University held its fall 2025 graduation ceremony Friday at the Seongsan Hall auditorium on its Gyeongsan campus.

A total of 1,466 graduates received their degrees at the ceremony, including 915 bachelor's, 507 master's and 44 doctoral degree recipients.

Outstanding graduates were recognized with a range of awards, including the Board Chair Award, the President's Merit Award, the President's Excellence Award, the Outstanding Research Award, the Graduate School Dean's Excellence Award and the Alumni Association President's Award.

President Yun Jae-ung said in his address that he hoped graduates would "carry in their hearts the founding spirit of 'love, light and freedom' that has guided this university since its establishment, and shine as outstanding individuals in every corner of society."
