Singer MC Mong expressed hurt toward broadcaster Shin Jung-hwan during a TikTok live stream, asking, "Why do you have so little loyalty?"
On Tuesday, MC Mong was hosting a TikTok live stream when he and Shin faced off in a live match — a format in which two hosts compete to see who receives more viewer donations.
After the match ended, MC Mong mentioned his upcoming concert venue and asked Shin, "You're coming to the concert, right?" Shin hesitated before replying, "I have an MC gig at a wedding that day."
MC Mong turned serious and said, "Why do you have so little loyalty?" Shin explained, "It was booked almost two months ago. I saw the schedule too late." MC Mong let out a sigh and said, "I'm really hurt, man. Truly."
Shin then proposed a trade-off: "Then I'll come to your concert — so will you come and MC my wedding?" MC Mong replied, "That works."
The banter continued. When MC Mong began promoting his concert to viewers, Shin quipped, "Looks like you don't have many places to unveil new songs — since you're doing it at a concert." MC Mong let out a hollow laugh and said, "What are you talking about?"
MC Mong announced on Instagram on Saturday that he would be releasing a new song ahead of his Busan concert on Sunday. He had also held his first solo concert in four years at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on Aug. 14 and 16.
