Actor Lee Dong-gun's Jeju cafe, said to be 'under reorganization,' replaced by fashion store

A fashion brand store has moved into the Jeju location formerly occupied by actor Lee Dong-gun's cafe Oasis80, which had announced it was undergoing reorganization.

Recent posts on online communities shared updates on the cafe Lee had operated in Aewol, Jeju, showing that a fashion brand store has taken over the space.

The cafe announced on social media in July that it would "take time for reorganization effective July 9."

At the time, the cafe said, "We sincerely thank you for your love and support over the years."

Lee opened the Aewol cafe in April last year. He drew wide attention after documenting the entire process — from preparations to day-to-day operations — on the SBS variety program My Little Old Boy.

The cafe announced a temporary closure in mid-June, citing interior renovation work. It never reopened, and in July the cafe posted on its official social media account: "We will be taking time for reorganization. We sincerely thank you for your love and continued visits."

The cafe has not officially announced a permanent closure. Lee had previously said during a live broadcast that he was preparing to open a Seoul location.

Meanwhile, Lee married actor Jo Yoon-hee in 2017 and the couple had a daughter the same year before divorcing in 2020.
