The winning numbers for the 1,240th Lotto drawing, held Saturday, were 11, 13, 19, 20, 31 and 44. The bonus number was 27.
According to Dong Haeng Lottery, 16 tickets matched all six numbers to claim first prize, with each winner receiving 1.79 billion won ($1.32 million). Total sales for the drawing reached 118.17 billion won.
Second prize, for matching five numbers plus the bonus number, went to 78 winners, each receiving 61.26 million won. Third prize, for matching five numbers, was shared by 3,087 winners, each receiving 1.55 million won.
Fourth prize, for matching four numbers, went to 155,202 winners, while 2,619,423 winners matched three numbers for fifth prize. Fourth-prize payouts are fixed at 50,000 won and fifth-prize payouts at 5,000 won.
Of the 16 first-prize-winning tickets, 14 were auto-selected and two were manually selected. By region, Seoul led with five winning outlets, followed by Gyeonggi Province with five, North Jeolla Province with two, and Busan, Daegu, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang Province with one each. Two winning tickets were sold in Osan, Gyeonggi Province, and two in Iksan, North Jeolla Province.
In the previous drawing — the 1,239th, held Sunday — the winning numbers were 11, 13, 22, 32, 33 and 36, with 8 as the bonus number. The numbers 11 and 13 have now appeared in the first-prize combination for two consecutive weeks.
Winners have one year from the start of the payout period to claim their prizes. If the deadline falls on a holiday, the claim period extends to the next business day.
