HiOne Resort, operated by Kangwon Land, has been named the top resort in the 2026 Digital Customer Experience Index certification ceremony hosted by the Korean Standards Association.

The Digital Customer Experience Index, or DCXI, is a diagnostic model for digital transformation capability jointly developed by the Korean Standards Association and Korea University. It measures customer satisfaction with a company's digital channels — including mobile apps and websites — and tracks multidimensional customer experience factors in an integrated framework.

This year's survey covered 68 companies and institutions across 20 categories, with a consumer panel of more than 13,000 respondents.

HiOne Resort earned the top resort ranking by integrating digital technology across the full customer journey — from reservations and smart check-in and check-out to facility use and payment. The resort was also recognized for upgrading its integrated mobile app and improving customer-centered digital services.

The resort is currently developing a next-generation integrated booking system and continues to expand customer experience innovations using digital technology, including biometric-based customer identification and payment.

"We are using AI technology to enhance data-driven personalized guidance and individualized services, and we remain committed to raising customer satisfaction," Kangwon Land Chief Executive Kim Do-gyun said. "Going forward, we will significantly expand customer convenience and take the lead in building a smart resort foundation to strengthen our competitiveness in the global integrated resort market."

Meanwhile, Kangwon Land plans to launch a facial recognition payment system this month and will sell a limited package exclusively for the new system so customers can experience it firsthand.
