Company says products create a comfortable sleep environment through warmth and breathability
Kyung Dong Navien has launched two sleep mat products — the Navien Sleep Mat Hot Water and the Navien Sleep Mat Carbon — both featuring covers made with Australian wool.
The new products retain the core functions of the existing sleep mat lineup while upgrading the cover material for an improved user experience. The cover uses a soft cotton-blend fabric, while the filling uses Australian wool, a material commonly found in premium bedding. The wool filling maintains a plush, cushioned feel over time thanks to the natural elasticity and resilience of wool. The company said the material's moisture-wicking and breathable properties help sustain a comfortable sleep environment throughout the night.
The Sleep Mat Hot Water replaces the previous zipper-style cover with a pad-style design to improve ease of use. The cover can be placed and secured on top of the mat with minimal effort, making it easy to attach, remove and wash.
The mat's key feature, AI Sleep Mode, analyzes the user's sleep stages based on breathing sounds detected by a smartphone and automatically adjusts the mat's temperature accordingly. The company said the mode lowers the temperature during REM sleep — when the body becomes more sensitive to temperature changes — to maintain a comfortable environment and promote deeper sleep.
"Consumers who want warm, cozy heat should choose the Sleep Mat Hot Water, while those who prioritize convenience should go with the Sleep Mat Carbon," Kyung Dong Navien said.
