Ex-footballer Kim Young-gwang praises singer Lim Young-woong: 'You were destined to succeed'

Former footballer Kim Young-gwang has posted a message of support for singer Lim Young-woong.

On Tuesday, Kim shared a photo on Instagram of himself with Lim taken at the singer's concert, where Lim posed with a V sign beside him.

"This is something I've always felt, Yeong-ung — you were destined to succeed," Kim wrote. "Looking at your sincerity on stage, your humble attitude toward people and your character, I can see exactly why so many people love you."

He added, "Success doesn't come from talent alone, but you have the talent, the heart and the respect for others. That's why you've done so well until now, and I believe you can only go further from here."

Kim closed his post by writing, "I naturally expect to see you rise even higher, and I'm always cheering you on."

Meanwhile, Lim held his 10th-anniversary concert "IM HERO - THE STADIUM 2" at the main stadium of Goyang Sports Complex over three days, from Friday through Sunday.
