A cafe owner has shared her ordeal over a regular customer whose repeated rude behavior — including making loud phone calls and lying back in a chair with her feet propped against the wall — has made running the business a struggle.
According to JTBC's "Sageon Banjang," a viewer tip-off program, the cafe owner, identified only as A, opened her cafe in Incheon in April and submitted a tip about a female customer whose disruptive conduct has been hurting her business.
According to A, the woman began visiting the cafe in May. At first she caused no problems, but she soon started making loud phone calls inside the store with increasing frequency.
A said the woman typically visits in the morning, when takeout orders tend to pile up, and her phone calls were so loud that taking orders from other customers became difficult. At least one other customer left the store because of the noise.
Footage made public showed the woman sitting between tables while on a call, then reclining in her chair and putting both feet up against the wall.
A also said the woman had walked into the kitchen to share personal stories about her family life and had even proposed buying the cafe. She added that the woman had at one point changed her clothes inside the store.
A said she simply wants the woman to observe basic manners and submitted the tip in hopes that the customer would stop coming to her store.
