Lexus Korea opens Dongtan showroom, service center

Lexus Korea said Thursday it has opened a new showroom and service center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. The facility aims to improve accessibility and service convenience for customers in southern Gyeonggi Province.

Officials including Manabu Konyama, president of Korea Toyota Motor, and Lee Sang-gyu, president of Central Motors, attended an opening ceremony for the facility Wednesday.

"Lexus Dongtan is an important hub for connecting more closely with customers in southern Gyeonggi Province and expanding the brand experience," said Konyama, president of Lexus Korea. "We hope it will grow into a flagship hub trusted by local customers, offering Lexus's signature warm hospitality and differentiated customer experience."

The Lexus Dongtan showroom and service center operates under a 3S concept, combining vehicle sales, service and spare parts under one roof. The facility offers a one-stop system covering everything from consultations and test drives to contracts, delivery, maintenance and after-service care, all at a single location.

The facility spans a total floor area of 3,442.91 square meters across two below-ground and three above-ground floors. The underground parking area includes dedicated charging facilities for customers with electrified models, while the first floor above ground houses the new car showroom and service reception.

The second floor features a customer lounge designed to give those visiting for vehicle maintenance and service a more comfortable place to stay. The lounge also displays craft works from Lexus Creative Masters and products from Lexus Young Farmers.

The service center is equipped with five work bays, enabling about 480 general maintenance and regular inspection jobs per month on average. The company said this will allow it to respond more quickly to service demand in southern Gyeonggi Province.

Located in the Dongtan 2 new town, the Lexus Dongtan showroom and service center is about a 10-minute drive from Dongtan Station on the SRT and GTX-A lines, and sits near major transportation routes including the Dongtan Ring Road and the Gyeongbu Expressway. The location offers convenient access not only from Hwaseong but also from Suwon, Osan and other areas in southern Gyeonggi Province.

With the addition of the Dongtan location, Lexus Korea now operates 32 showrooms and 38 service centers nationwide as it works to provide top-tier service for customer satisfaction.

Meanwhile, Lexus Korea has continued a range of marketing activities to widen its customer touchpoints. It recently hosted "2026 Lexus Brand Day" at a Kiwoom Heroes-Samsung Lions professional baseball game at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.

Lexus Brand Day is a baseball-themed program among the sports-linked activities Lexus Korea runs through Lexus Amazing Members, its premium lifestyle program for customers.
