Kim Ga-ram, ex-Le Sserafim member embroiled in bullying scandal, starts anew as actor

Kim Ga-ram, the former Le Sserafim member who left the group amid a school bullying controversy, is starting a new chapter as an actor.

Kim's agency, Management Goo, released new profile photos of her Thursday, saying, "Actor Kim Ga-ram, who has diverse charms and boundless potential, has joined Management Goo."

The agency added that Kim "is constantly working hard to show the public a new side of herself." It said she has been building her skills not only in performance but also in foreign languages, including English and Japanese, as well as in physical training.

"Through this profile, we wanted to show the diverse charms she has and her potential as an actor," the agency said, adding, "We will spare no effort in giving her our full support so she can show an even more grown version of herself in good projects going forward."

In the photos, Kim wears a black sleeveless outfit and gazes at the camera. Her long, straight hair and composed expression give off a mature air.

Kim debuted as a member of Le Sserafim in May 2022.

However, she halted her activities after becoming embroiled in a school bullying controversy around the time of her debut. She left the group in July of that year when her exclusive contract with Source Music was terminated.

She later enrolled at Konkuk University in 2024 to major in media acting, and in March opened a personal YouTube channel where she posted videos of her acting practice.
