Woman caught vaping repeatedly on moving express bus, blowing clouds 'like Godzilla'

A female passenger was caught on camera vaping multiple times inside a moving express bus.

JTBC's "Sageon Banjang," a crime and incident news program, aired viewer-submitted footage Thursday showing the incident aboard a premium express bus traveling from Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province, to Seoul.

In the video, the woman scrolls through her smartphone with one hand while repeatedly inhaling from an e-cigarette in the other. She is then seen exhaling thick white vapor without any apparent concern for those around her.

The footage was reportedly filmed Monday. The woman had begun vaping from behind a privacy curtain installed at each seat to give passengers personal space.

The smoking did not stop there. According to the person who submitted the video, the woman vaped shortly after the bus departed and again as it neared Seoul.

As the smoking continued inside the enclosed bus, other passengers grew uncomfortable, and the driver ultimately stepped in to stop her.

Watching the footage on air, an anchor said what the woman held in her hand "isn't a phone — it's an e-cigarette," adding that she was "blowing white clouds like Godzilla, looking completely at ease."

The anchor then expressed disbelief, saying they wished the incident had not happened in South Korea — joking that they wanted someone to tell them "this is a foreign country, and it only looks similar because they imported a Korean bus to run there."
