North Gyeongsang health college signs MOU with community cooperative

Gyeongbuk Health University signed an MOU with the Namsan-gol Village Management Social Cooperative on Friday to promote community health and strengthen field-based education.

Under the agreement, the two organizations will work together to develop and operate health promotion programs reflecting local health issues and residents' needs, support field activities for a course titled "Community Health Promotion Campaign," and exchange information on health education and outreach.

The cooperative will provide connections to local residents, activity venues and on-the-ground community information needed to run the course.

The two sides plan to coordinate in advance on program content, schedules, locations and target participants to carry out health promotion activities that residents can meaningfully experience.

"Through this agreement, we will build a sustainable cooperation model that gives students hands-on experience solving real health problems while delivering health promotion programs that residents can feel in their daily lives," said Lee Eun-jik, president of Gyeongbuk Health University.
