The Goryeong-gun Council in North Gyeongsang Province visited 15 major county project sites over two days, Wednesday and Thursday, during the first regular session of the 315th council meeting, inspecting the progress of ongoing projects and the operational status of related facilities.
On Wednesday, council members visited seven sites, including a third-phase community-based public rental housing development, a park golf course construction project in Ssangnim, the Daegaya Lifestyle Village and an equestrian culture experience center.
On Thursday, they visited eight more sites, including a youth culture center in Dasan-myeon, the Burye tourism area, a youth travel experience center and a traditional market parking improvement project.
At each site, council members received briefings on the current status and future plans of the projects, and closely examined the progress, operational issues and expected outcomes.
Council Speaker Na Yeong-wan said the council would carefully review the findings and the range of opinions gathered during the visits, work to address areas in need of improvement, and continue to monitor key projects to ensure they are carried out with substance.
