Shop at traditional markets and earn Onuri gift vouchers

Shoppers at traditional markets in Ulsan who buy domestic farm, livestock or seafood products from Wednesday through Sunday can receive up to 20,000 won ($15) per person in Onuri gift vouchers as a rebate.

Ulsan city announced Monday it will hold an "Onuri gift voucher rebate event" at 14 traditional markets across the city to ease the burden of rising grocery prices ahead of the chuseok holiday and encourage residents to shop at traditional markets.

For farm and livestock products, participating markets are five in Jung-gu — Hakseong Saebyeok Market, Guyeokjeon Market, the Taehwa Market–Ujeong Traditional Market alliance, the Jungang Traditional Market–Okgol Market alliance, and Bangu Market; four in Nam-gu — the Sinjeong Sangga Market–Sinjeong Market alliance, Yaeum Sangga Market, Ulsan Beongae Market, and the Suam Sangga Market–Suam Comprehensive Market alliance; four in Dong-gu — Daesong Market, Dong Ulsan Comprehensive Market, Nammok Maseong Market, and Daewangam Wolbong Market; and one in Ulju-gun — Eonyang Alps Market.

For seafood products, participating markets are five in Jung-gu — the Taehwa Market–Ujeong Traditional Market alliance, Guyeokjeon Market, Hakseong Saebyeok Market, Central Plaza, and Bangu Market; three in Nam-gu — the Sinjeong Sangga Market–Sinjeong Market alliance, Suam Hoe Seafood, and Suam Sangga Market; three in Dong-gu — Daesong Market, Nammok Maseong Market, and Daewangam Wolbong Market; one in Buk-gu — Jeongja Live Fish Direct Store; and one in Ulju-gun — Eonyang Alps Market.

Rebates are 10,000 won for purchases of 34,000 won or more but less than 67,000 won, and 20,000 won for purchases of 67,000 won or more. Shoppers can claim their rebate at the designated redemption point inside each market by presenting same-day receipts and a valid photo ID.
