Gyeongbuk Health College's smart logistics program steps up field-focused training

Gyeongbuk Health College said Monday that its smart logistics program, part of the AI Convergence Department, is accelerating efforts to develop future logistics professionals with the practical skills and leadership qualities demanded by industry, in connection with the K-U City project.

The program invited Jo Jung-yeon, a managing director at Boryeong, to deliver a guest lecture for enrolled students on the theme "Starting today, I become a leader."

Jo is a global business specialist who previously served as head of the global operations center at Daewoong Pharma and head of the global division at Yungjin Pharm, and currently oversees global business at Boryeong.

Drawing on his experience in overseas business and organizational management, he shared with students the qualities and leadership mindset that companies look for in their people.

"Leadership does not begin with rank — it begins with identifying problems and acting on them with a sense of responsibility," Jo said during the lecture.

The smart logistics program within the AI Convergence Department is strengthening field-centered education so that choosing to enroll becomes students' first step toward preparing for the industries of the future, amid rapid changes across the sector.

"We will continue to expand field-centered education by actively reflecting industry changes and corporate needs in our curriculum, so that students who choose smart logistics find that choice becomes their competitive edge in the job market," said Gyeongbuk Health College President Lee Eun-jik.
