Report analyzes climate risks and opportunities
Covers governance and compliance management improvements
DL has published its 2026 integrated group sustainability report, outlining DL Group's environmental, social and governance (ESG) management strategy and key performance results.
This marks the fourth consecutive year DL has released a group-wide integrated sustainability report. The report covers domestic operations at major affiliates including holding company DL, DL Chemical, DL E&C, DL Energy, Glad Hotel & Resort, DL Construction and Pocheon Power.
The report introduces a strengthened climate response framework, including a group-wide integrated climate scenario analysis. DL assessed the risks and opportunities that climate change could pose to each affiliate's business. The findings were reviewed by each affiliate's ESG committee and board of directors, and will be used to shape management and future business strategies.
The group is working to turn climate change response into new business opportunities. In the petrochemical segment, it is upgrading its portfolio around high-value specialty products and eco-friendly materials. In construction, it has launched what it describes as South Korea's first standardized small modular reactor (SMR) design project.
DL Group is also strengthening its governance, ethics and compliance management frameworks. DL continues to pursue board-centered accountability grounded in board independence and expertise, while regularly reviewing its internal controls and compliance systems.
Meanwhile, DL Group has drawn attention as one of the domestic construction companies linked to investment in US nuclear power and energy infrastructure, following the National Assembly's passage of the Special Act on Investment in the United States.
