Lotte World Adventure has launched its autumn seasonal festival, "Invitation to a Strange World," in collaboration with the Japanese horror anime series Junji Ito Collection, featuring immersive photo zones, augmented reality experiences and exclusive collaboration products.
The festival is built around the concept of a door opening into a strange world at Lotte World, where horror and fantasy blur with reality. It runs from Sept. 12 through Nov. 15.
A highlight of the festival is the new sub-parade "Dark Fantasy Festival," staged nightly at 8:20 p.m. with a theme of setting off on a thrilling adventure. Performers in vivid, elaborate costumes and makeup add spectacle to the overall event.
