Singer Lee Seung-cheol has shared the news of his grandchild's birth, expressing his joy at becoming a grandfather.
On Wednesday, Lee posted on social media: "I became a grandfather on Wednesday," alongside a photo of his newborn grandchild.
He went on to say, "Open your eyes and take a look. Welcome to the world, my grandchild Jung Yu-han Grayson."
The photo showed a newborn sleeping soundly, swaddled in a blanket and wearing a small hat. Lee personally introduced his grandchild's name, showing the deep affection he holds for the child.
Earlier, Lee appeared on tvN's "You Quiz on the Block" in August and announced that he would be welcoming a grandchild this year.
Last year, Lee announced the marriage of his eldest daughter — a daughter who became part of his family when he remarried in 2007 and whom he has described as a child "born of the heart."
Born in 1966, Lee made his debut in 1986 as a member of the rock band Boohwal before pursuing a solo career, earning wide love with hit songs including "Hiya," "Don't Say Goodbye," "Mallikot" and "Western Sky."
