Comedian Lee Seung-yoon forgets anniversary 2 years running, jokes he has 'gone into nature'

Comedian Lee Seung-yoon marked the aftermath of forgetting his wedding anniversary for the second consecutive year with a lighthearted post and photos on social media.

Lee took to his Instagram account Thursday to share a photo of himself along with the caption: "Narration: And so, Seung-yoon, who had forgotten his wedding anniversary, went into nature."

In the photo, Lee was huddled inside a small tent perched high on a mountain, curled up and resting.

When a commenter asked about his wife's reaction, he replied, "She just laughed. But it was scary." In response to another comment saying "A ghost is on Instagram," he quipped, "It's cold."

In a separate earlier post, Lee wrote that he had realized it was his wedding anniversary only on his way home from work, adding, "I can't help but laugh."

He uploaded a photo of himself laughing helplessly in his car, writing: "Friday — I have not been in touch and I have not prepared anything. I forgot last year too, so what do I do now. There are still 29 minutes left. I told my manager not to go home just yet."

Lee later wrote in the comments, trailing off in a way that drew laughs from followers: "I came home and my wife was asleep, so I quietly lay down beside her. Good night, everyone."

Lee currently hosts the MBN lifestyle program "Naneun Jayeoninida," a nature-living reality show, where his smooth presenting style and easy on-screen charm have won him a wide following.
