Doosan Robotics announced Friday that it has appointed Kwon Young-min as its new chief executive officer.
Kwon joined Doosan Corp.'s strategic planning division in 2000 and served as chief strategy officer at Doosan Bobcat from 2018 to 2020. Since 2021, he has led Doosan Mottrol — a subsidiary of Doosan Bobcat — as its chief executive.
Kwon is expected to accelerate efforts to narrow Doosan Robotics' operating losses and expand its product lineup. "We expect him to draw on his broad experience in global business and management to contribute to the company's mid- to long-term growth and competitiveness," a Doosan Robotics official said.
