Gyeongil University's RE:ON volunteer corps holds community recovery event in Uiseong-gun

Gyeongil University's RE:ON volunteer corps held a community service event in Danbuk-myeon, Uiseong-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, on Thursday.

About 30 people took part, including faculty, students and project staff.

The corps ran a series of major-linked programs for local residents, offering healing hand massages, beauty nail art, physical rehabilitation stretching and full-body massage.

The Department of Sports Rehabilitation Medicine checked residents' physical condition and provided consultations on lifestyle habits and health management based on the assessment results.

"It is meaningful to be able to contribute to community recovery by putting our academic expertise to use," said Kim Dae-ho, a professor in the Department of Sports Rehabilitation Medicine.
