Yongsan-gu District Mayor Kim Kyung-dae attended the 2026 Yongsan Youth Festival on Saturday at Officer Housing Complex 5 in Yongsan Park, joining young residents in the day's activities.
Held under the slogan "Pool the Youth, Full the Yongsan," the festival was planned and operated by youth participants themselves and featured a range of programs including rest areas, counseling services, hands-on experiences and performances. Kim toured the festival grounds, encouraging participants and listening to their views on youth policy.
Kim also presented commendations to young people who had contributed to the local community and the advancement of youth policy, recognizing their efforts.
"I hope this Yongsan Youth Festival becomes a time when young people take center stage, enjoy themselves together and connect with one another," Kim said. "We will continue to listen to the diverse voices of youth and work alongside them so they can pursue their dreams in Yongsan."
