Families with elementary or middle school children nationwide invited to apply by Sept. 30
The Damyang-gun Cultural Foundation is accepting applications from 20 family teams to participate in the 2026 Damyang Bamboo Hideout Festival, themed "Special Imagination, Bamboo Hideout," through Sept. 30.
The festival runs Nov. 7-8 at the Dambit Concert Hall area at 69 Gwanbangjerim-gil in Damyang-eup. The two-day event is a family co-creation arts festival in which children's original sketches serve as blueprints for building one-of-a-kind bamboo hideouts, constructed together by families, artists and master bamboo craftspeople.
