Morning lows of 14–19 C expected; daily temperature swings of 10–15 degrees

Cloudy skies are forecast across the country on Thursday, the first day of the chuseok holiday.
Dense fog is expected in western areas from early morning, including inland Gyeonggi Province, inland and mountainous parts of Gangwon Province, the Chungcheong region and the Jeolla region. Rain is forecast to move into the northern East Sea coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province late at night.
The daily temperature swing is expected to reach 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, so residents are advised to take care of their health. Morning lows are forecast at 14 to 19 C, with afternoon highs ranging from 26 to 30 C.
Wave heights along near-coastal waters are expected to reach 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East and South seas and around 0.5 meters in the West Sea. In the outer offshore waters — roughly within 200 kilometers of the coastline — swells are forecast at 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East and South seas and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea.
