Katseye charts in UK for 9 consecutive weeks; 'KPop Demon Hunters' OST runs for 66

Katseye, the girl group formed through a joint venture between Hybe and Geffen Records, has maintained a presence on the UK Official Charts for more than two months. "Golden," the original soundtrack from the Netflix animated film "KPop Demon Hunters," has also climbed back up the chart, remaining on it for more than a year.

According to the latest UK Official Charts — covering the period from Sept. 25 to Oct. 1 — released Saturday (Korean Standard Time), Katseye's pre-release single "Animal" from their third EP "WILD" came in at No. 22 on the Official Singles Top 100. The track has now charted for nine consecutive weeks after reaching its peak position of No. 12. The EP's title track "Hootie Frutti" held at No. 59, marking its sixth consecutive week on the chart.

On the Official Albums Top 10, which tracks physical album sales, the mini-album "WILD" landed at No. 65, maintaining a chart presence for six consecutive weeks after debuting at No. 2 in its first week of release.

Katseye will attend the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday (local time) as nominees in four categories, including Best Group and Song of Summer.

"Golden," the original soundtrack from the Netflix animated film "KPop Demon Hunters," rose five spots from the previous week to No. 57 on the Official Singles Top 100. The track has now charted for 66 consecutive weeks, sustaining steady local streaming demand even after the film's release.
