Cheongsong-gun in North Gyeongsang Province has launched an online version of its 20th Cheongsong Apple Festival on the Daum portal, running through Nov. 8, the county announced Tuesday.
Visitors can access the online festival by searching "Cheongsong," "Cheongsong-gun," "Cheongsong apple" or "Cheongsong Apple Festival" in the Daum search bar.
The online festival features four games, including two signature programs — "Honey Fun Apple Nanta" and "Challenge Apple Sorting Lotto" — with prizes such as Cheongsong apples and apple juice available for participants.
The festival page also provides a comprehensive overview of the 20th Cheongsong Apple Festival, including key programs and the event schedule.
"We have prepared the online festival so that people can enjoy a preview of the Cheongsong Apple Festival anytime, anywhere," Cheongsong-gun County Chief Yun Gyeong-hui said. "We hope you will enjoy the festival online first, and then visit Cheongsong in November to experience the full charm of the festival in person."
The 20th Cheongsong Apple Festival will be held for five days from Nov. 4 to Nov. 8 along the Yongjeoncheon stream in Cheongsong-eup, under the theme "Now Cheongsong! Dyed in Apples."
During the festival, a range of exhibitions, sales booths and hands-on programs centered on Cheongsong apples — one of South Korea's most recognized regional fruit brands — will be on offer alongside performances, food and other attractions, giving tourists a taste of Cheongsong's autumn scenery and festive spirit.
