150,000 won support per person for ages 19–20
Incheon city will begin accepting additional applications for its youth culture and arts pass program, which supports young residents' access to cultural activities.
The city announced Wednesday that it will offer the youth culture and arts pass to 1,648 residents aged 19 to 20 — those born in 2006 or 2007 — on a first-come, first-served basis starting Thursday. Each recipient receives 150,000 won ($110) in support.
Now in its third year, the program aims to broaden cultural opportunities for young people and stimulate cultural consumption.
This year, the city expanded eligibility from 19-year-olds only to include 20-year-olds as well, extending benefits to a larger pool of youth.
The scope of support has also widened. Movies and books — categories in high demand among young people — have been added to the original lineup of performances and exhibitions.
The number of partner ticketing and retail platforms has grown significantly as well, from two — NOL and YES24 — to nine, now including Megabox, CGV, Lotte Cinema, Ticketlink, Melon Ticket, Seojeon-on and YES24 books.
However, those who received the pass in 2025 or were already issued one in the first half of this year are not eligible to apply again. The city issued passes to 14,823 young residents in the first half of this year alone.
Passes issued in this round are valid through Dec. 31 from the date of issuance. Eligible applicants can apply online through the program's official website.
